A lot of people don’t realize that there is a Milky Way “season” – generally from March to October.  This is when the Milky Way is visible to us. Based on the time of year and the time of day, some very interesting images can be generated. Photopills is my go-to tool for defining my composition.

Equally important to the celestial part of the composition is an interesting foreground.  I am always in search of dark skies and cool compositions.  If you have an idea, drop me a note!
