“Light painting” can take many forms. You may choose to use a torch/flashlight to physically “paint” light onto a subject or you can simply track lights in a time exposure to paint a picture. 

Perhaps the most interesting light painting that I have seen are the compositions by Eric Pare & Kim Henry who use torches and tubes to create magical images like you see here.  My images were taken on a workshop with Eric and Kim on the island of Menorca in the Baleric Islands of Spain.  If you ever have a chance to attend one of Eric’s workshops, I’d highly recommend it!
