Last year, I converted an older Nikon DSLR camera into an infrared camera with a 720nm infrared filter. 

In the conversion, you replace the camera’s built in filter which blocks infrared light with one that block visible wavelengths and allows IR ligth to pass through. It creates some very interesting effects.   

I’m sort of just getting started, but I really like the results!
